Ferrosilicon inoculants are easier to dissolve and absorb than ordinary inoculants, and can promote the extraction of ideal graphite spheres from gray cast iron, improve the level of spheroidization, and greatly reduce the efflorescence tendency. Ferrosilicon inoculant has a low melting point (close to 1300°C), so the inoculant melts and absorbs easily and is virtually scum-free. The ferrosilicon inoculant has strong anti-retraction ability, prevents inoculation loss and nodularization decline, the chemical composition is stable, and there are small deviations in composition and quality.
