Calcined Petroleum Coke
Petroleum coke can be used in the manufacture of graphite, smelting and chemical industries. Low-sulfur, high-quality petroleum coke is mainly used to manufacture ultra-high-power graphite electrodes and some special carbon products; needle coke is an important material for the development of new electric furnace steelmaking technologies in the steelmaking industry. Medium sulfur and ordinary petroleum coke are widely used in aluminum smelting. High-sulfur, ordinary raw coke is used in chemical production, such as the manufacture of calcium carbide, silicon carbide, etc., and also as a fuel for metal casting. Most of the petroleum coke produced by our company is low-sulfur coke, which is mainly used for aluminum smelting and graphite manufacturing.
CPC Calcined Petroleum Coke Introduction and Application
- Calcined petroleum coke (CPC) is commonly used in the production of steel as a key raw material for carbon anodes. Anodes are large carbon blocks that are used to conduct electricity during the steelmaking process.
