Ferro Silicon Calcium
Ferro silicon calcium is an alloy made up of iron, silicon, and calcium. It is used as a deoxidizer, desulfurizer, and degasser in the production of steel and cast iron. Ferro silicon calcium is added to molten steel or iron to remove impurities such as oxygen, sulfur, and phosphorus. It also helps to improve the mechanical properties of the final product, such as strength and hardness. The calcium in ferro silicon calcium reacts with the sulfur in the molten metal to form calcium sulfide, which is then easily removed from the metal. Ferro silicon calcium is also used as a nodulizer in the production of ductile iron, where it helps to create spherical graphite nodules that improve the ductility and toughness of the final product.

Application and Features of Ferro Silicon Calcium
